The tone of voice. It is a sign of good taste to speak in particular tend to lower volume. Le persone che urlano mentre parlano, così come quelle che gesticolano eccessivamente, sono decisamente fastidiose per il prossimo e lo sono tanto più in quanto non ci fanno caso. Allo stesso tempo, anche bisbigliare di fronte a terzi conosciuti non è di buon gusto, perché tende a escludere sgradevolmente le altre persone presenti alla conversazione. Cercare di coinvolgere tutti i presenti in modo che nessuno si senta solo è un gesto umano prima ancora che una cortesia prescritta dalla buona educazione.
